Well, some good news for a change to come out of Albany...
NO TAX ON SODA!!
It seems that Gov. Paterson's idea of imposing a surtax on carbonated and "sugary" drinks has been nixed.
Although, we New Yorkers are still screwed on the tobacco tax and they have as yet not voted on the clothing tax (aka - removing the tax relief on clothing under $100.00) but at least the "soda tax" is one new tax we don't have to worry about being saddled with!
(I'm still voting these bums out!!!)
